Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix(2007)

Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger enter their fifth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The wizarding community has shunned Harry and Albus Dumbledore, head of Hogwarts, who claim that Lord Voldemort has, after 14 years, regained a body and been restored to full power, and are instead influenced by the propaganda of The Daily Prophet and the intentional ignorance of the Minister of Magic, Cornelius Fudge. Fudge appoints a new Hogwarts Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher, Dolores Umbridge, who begins to steadily take over Hogwarts through the support of the Ministry.

Harry, Ron and Hermione immediately dislike Umbridge, because she refuses to allow them to discuss the return of Voldemort, her detentions are painful and torturous, and because she teaches them inadequate, textbook lessons devoid of actual magic. Thus, "Dumbledore's Army" is founded, as an underground organisation with Harry as teacher to prepare twenty-seven of his schoolmates in case of a battle with Voldemort. Harry starts having dreams about what Voldemort is doing and saves Ron's dad, by seeing him being attacked in the Department of Mysteries by Nagini, Voldemort's pet snake. Harry then begins Occlumency lessons with Professor Snape to close his mind to the Dark Lord's penetrations in the event that Lord Voldemort should become aware of the connection between Harry Potter's mind and his own. A vision of Sirius Black being tortured by Lord Voldemort in the bowels of the Department of Mysteries prompts Harry to launch a rescue attempt."

Sicko (2007)

"In the film, Moore states that the United States is the only industrialized nation that does not offer free basic health care to all of its citizens. The American system is compared to those of Canada, the United Kingdom and France, which have universal health care for their citizens.

In Canada, Moore speaks to his relatives and other Canadians about their health care system. He is then told about the contribution to the Canadian health system by Tommy Douglas, who was voted the Greatest Canadian in 2004. Moore then goes to a Canadian public hospital to interview a microsurgeon and people in the Emergency waiting room.

In the United Kingdom, Moore discovers that all pharmaceuticals are free of charge if younger than 16 and older than 60, and for everyone else they are subsidized so only a maximum of ₤6.65 is charged (reported as approximately US$10 in the movie but this figure can fluctuate depending on the exchange rate). When in a National Health Service (NHS) hospital, Moore attempts to find out about British patients' in-hospital expenses, only to be told laughingly that there are no out-of-pocket payments. He eventually finds a counter labeled "Cashier", only to learn that low-income patients actually receive money there to reimburse their trip to the hospital. This segment also includes interviews with British former Member of Parliament Tony Benn, an NHS general practitioner and an American woman residing in Great Britain.

In France, Moore interviews the head of O&G Department of a French hospital, and then a group of Americans living in France. He also rides along with a 24-hour French house-call medical service SOS Médecins in which a doctor makes visits to patients' homes, taking dispatch calls like a taxi driver.[6] Moore further learns that French government provides social services so far as to provide day care for $1 a day and do laundry for new mothers, as part of their job of providing neonatal support. He then interviews the local middle class to find out about the impact on their life due to heavier taxation to fund the universal health care system."

Ratatouille (2007)

"Rémy (Patton Oswalt) lives in a rat colony in the attic of a French country home with his brother Émile (Peter Sohn) and father Django (Brian Dennehy). Unlike his kin, Rémy is a gourmet whose keen sense of smell is used by the colony only to detect rat poison in food. But Rémy yearns for more, sneaking into the kitchen to read the cookbook of his hero, Parisian chef Auguste Gusteau (Brad Garrett), who appears to Rémy in visions throughout the film to expound on his motto that "anyone can cook." Rémy learns that Gusteau died after a harsh review from mean-spirited food critic Anton Ego (Peter O'Toole)."

The rats flee the house when the resident, an old woman, discovers the colony. Rémy, separated from the others, floats in the storm drains to Paris on Gusteau's cookbook, following the chef's image to his namesake restaurant, now run by former sous-chef Skinner (Ian Holm). As Rémy watches from a kitchen skylight, Alfredo Linguini (Lou Romano), a young man with no culinary talent, arrives and is hired on at the request of his recently deceased mother to do janitorial duties. The boy, unknown to all but his mother, Renata, is in fact Gusteau's son. Linguini spills a pot of soup and attempts to cover up his mistake by adding nearby random ingredients. Horrified by Linguini's actions, Rémy falls into the kitchen and though desperately trying to escape, cannot help but stop and attempt to fix the ruined soup. Rémy is caught in the act by Linguini, who himself is caught by Skinner as he captures the rat, but not before some of the soup has been served. To everyone's surprise, the soup is a success. The kitchen's sole woman cook, Colette (Janeane Garofalo), convinces Skinner not to fire Linguini provided he can recreate the soup. And thus begins an alliance, uneasy at first, by which Rémy secretly directs Linguini. The two perfect a marionette-like arrangement by which Rémy tugs at Linguini's hair to control his movements and stays hidden under Linguini's toque blanche."

His wife Joan and his three sons leave to her mother's house after seeing it on a news report, leaving him to build the ark himself which gains international notice. 1408 (2007)

"Mike Enslin (Cusack) is a skeptic and writer, authoring books debunking supernatural occurrences. After completing research for his next book, Mike receives an anonymous postcard of the Dolphin Hotel, bearing the message "don't enter 1408." Viewing this as a challenge, Enslin attempts to book a reservation in room 1408, only to discover that no matter what date he requests the room is "not available." However, after Mike's agent Sam Farrel (Shalhoub) and his in-house lawyer find that the Fair Housing Act requires hotels to rent unoccupied rooms, the Dolphin gives Mike a reservation for room 1408.

Arriving at the Dolphin, Mike is pulled aside by the hotel's manager, Gerald Olin (Jackson). Olin warns Mike that no one has lasted more than an hour in 1408 and urges him not to stay in the room, offering an upgrade to the penthouse suite, access to documents regarding the 56 deaths which have occurred in 1408, and an $800 bottle of vintage 1939 "Les Cinquante Sept Deces" ("The 57 deaths") cognac. Despite accepting the documents and the cognac, Mike insists on staying in the room; Olin reluctantly gives him the key, escorts him to the 14th floor, but refuses to leave the elevator, leaving Mike to lead himself to 1408.

Once inside the room, Mike pulls out his handheld tape recorder and begins to dictate, remarking on the unremarkability of 1408 as he examines it. His dictation is interrupted as the clock radio aburptly starts blaring We've Only Just Begun by The Carpenters. Shutting off the radio, Mike finds two chocolates have appeared on the now freshly made bed and also discovers that a toilet paper roll he had recently used is neatly folded. Assuming Olin or his employees are responsible, Mike searches the room but finds no one else inside.

Sitting on the bed with a small glass of cognac, Enslin is startled as the clock radio begins to blare We've Only Just Begun again. When he turns the radio off, the display flickers and changes to read "60:00", then starts counting down from 60 minutes. Suddenly Mike is unable to hear anything, and he goes to the window to check his hearing. As he looks away, the window slams down, cutting a large gash in the top of his hand. His hearing returns at this point. Attempting to clean the wound in the bathroom, Mike turns on the taps only to be hit by a sudden torrent of very hot water and steam. Leaving the bathroom, Mike bandages the wound with a bandana from his bag. The phone suddenly rings in the living room, and Enslin answers. The front desk calls to tell him that his kitchen order is 10 minutes delayed. Enslin shouts that he wants to checkout and needs a cab to the nearest hospital, only to receive non sequitur replies from the operator concerning room service and dry cleaning. Mike then attempts to leave the room only to have the key break off in the door and be sucked inside the lock. He is now trapped inside 1408."

Ocean's Thirteen (2007)

"Danny Ocean (George Clooney) and the gang would have only one reason to pull off their most ambitious and riskiest casino heist—to defend one of their own. But they’re going to need more than luck on their side to break The Bank.
Ruthless casino owner Willy Bank (Al Pacino) never imagined that the odds were against him when he double-crossed Danny Ocean’s friend and mentor Reuben Tishkoff (Elliott Gould), putting the distraught Reuben in a hospital bed in critical condition.

But Bank miscalculated…badly. He may have taken down one of the original Ocean’s eleven, but he left the others standing and, worse for him, gave them a shared purpose: to take Bank down on the night of what should be his greatest triumph—the grand opening of his new casino, appropriately named The Bank.
Their strategy is twofold. First they will ruin him financially by turning the tables on the precept that the house always wins. But that’s just money. The knockout punch will be to Bank’s personal pride and joy: his reputation as the only hotelier who has earned the Royal Review Board’s Five Diamond Award on every single one of his hotels.

The plan is elaborate, dangerous and damn near impossible…but there are no limits when it comes to one of their own"
